Terra Matcha (Qingdao) Supply Chain Co., Ltd. — Japanese-origin tea cultivars · Uji-style craftsmanship · China manufacturing advantage. Your valuable partner for premium matcha powder since 2021.

Terra Matcha was founded in August 2021 with a clear vision: to bring together the best of Japanese tea heritage and Chinese manufacturing capability to deliver world-class matcha to global buyers.
Japanese-Origin Cultivars. We cultivate Japanese tea varieties — Yabukita (薮北) and Asahi (朝日) — on our own tea plantations, alongside the premium Chinese cultivar Longjing #43 (龙井43). These carefully selected cultivars form the foundation of every product we make.
Uji-Style Craftsmanship. Our processing follows the time-honored Uji (宇治) method — shaded cultivation, steam fixation, and slow stone grinding — to produce matcha with the signature nutty aroma, creamy sweetness, silky mouthfeel, and vibrant emerald green color that defines authentic quality.
China Manufacturing Advantage. Based in the Qingdao Free Trade Zone, strategically located in one of China's most important port cities, we combine Japanese-quality craftsmanship with China's manufacturing scale and cost efficiency. This unique positioning allows us to deliver premium-grade matcha at competitive industrial pricing.
Three cultivars, one purpose — producing matcha of exceptional character and consistency.
The most widely planted tea cultivar in Japan, now thriving on our plantations. Yabukita delivers the classic matcha profile: fresh, sweet finish with clean, lingering umami. The backbone of our Uji series single cultivar matcha and the primary component in our A series multi-cultivar blend.
A premium Japanese cultivar prized for its exceptional color contribution. Asahi brightens the green hue of our matcha, producing the vivid emerald appearance that signals quality at first sight. Essential for both visual appeal and the refined flavor balance in our Uji series.
A distinguished Chinese cultivar renowned for Longjing (Dragon Well) green tea. In our A series multi-cultivar blend, Longjing #43 contributes a delicate, fragrant aroma with subtle floral and chestnut notes — adding a distinctive aromatic layer that differentiates our blend from single-origin matcha.
Every buyer has different needs. That's why we offer two distinct matcha product lines — each purpose-built for a specific market segment.
Philosophy: Let the cultivar speak for itself. Each Uji grade is made from a single tea variety, stone-ground from tencha leaves. No blending — pure expression of Yabukita or Asahi character.
Flavor Profile: Intense nutty aroma, layers of nori, dark chocolate, and rich cream. Silky smooth, velvety mouthfeel with bright, lingering sweetness. Vivid emerald green.
Applications: High-end tea ceremony, luxury gift boxes, ceremonial-grade retail, premium café, duty-free.
Philosophy: Engineering consistency through precision blending. Three cultivars — Yabukita for freshness and sweet finish, Asahi for bright color, Longjing #43 for aromatic complexity — combined to create a stable, repeatable flavor profile that never varies from batch to batch.
Flavor Profile: Pronounced chocolate character with moderate tea tannins and pleasant bitterness. Uniform color, stable flavor, zero batch variation.
Applications: Beverage manufacturing (6A-3A), industrial baking (2A-1A), mass-market retail, chain brands.
Batch-level records from tea plantation to shipment — audit-ready and transparent. Every lot can be traced back to its harvest date, cultivar, and processing parameters.
International standards reverse-define every step of our production and quality control. We don't adapt to certifications — our process is built around them from day one.
Tight QC control for color, aroma, fineness, and taste. The A series multi-cultivar blend is specifically engineered for zero batch-to-batch variation — critical for food and beverage manufacturing.
Industrialized capacity and planning ensure stable delivery during high-demand periods. 5,000+ tons annual capacity with safety stock for key grades.
Spectrophotometric measurement for consistent vibrant green color batch after batch — critical for both Uji series visual appeal and A series blend uniformity.
Precision milling monitored for consistent fineness — critical for dispersion, mouthfeel, and the signature silky texture of our Uji series.
Regular testing for total plate count, coliforms, yeast, and mold to ensure food safety across all grades and production runs.
Lead, arsenic, cadmium, and mercury testing to meet international food safety standards — compliant with EU, US, and Japanese regulations.
Comprehensive screening to meet EU, US, and Japanese MRL requirements. Our own plantations give us full control over cultivation practices.
Trained evaluators assess aroma, flavor, color, and texture for every production batch — ensuring the nutty, creamy, chocolatey notes our customers expect.
